If you're that broke, just go for as PS4 for now...

Seriously, now is not a good time to build a PC, with system requirements doubling with the new systems coming out, you won't be able to play stuff on a budget comp well.

Mods don't do that unless it's off-topic or breaks another rule, and this topic doesn't do that. If you want to close it, attempt to delete your original post. That locks the topic.

You don't think a cheaper PC laptop would hold up to your school work? Sounds to me like you don't care THAT much about a gaming PC.

I don't understand how you can be broke but still buy a macbook. It doesn't ''compute'' for me pardon the pun. Do you really need a mac book for college work that a good laptop wouldn't be able to do?? Anyways it's simple, obviously making a career for your self is way more important than making sure you have the latest hardware for your pc to play games on.

It's best you just purchase the steambox if you must play pc games or if that is still to expansive just play older pc games on your mac book. You will have to run a windows simulator though and probably need good specs to get games to run nicely but I really don't know the specifics.

You can buy a $500 console and a $500 computer and have two crap machines, or you can spend $1000 building your own computer and have the best of both worlds.

Wait before buying a console, price goes down like clock work, games too. Reconsider apple stuff if you can its kinda op'd.

Get a cashback credit card and keep it paid off. That 1-5% a month adds up.
