I've never heard of Tor.

But this is a vulnerability in Firefox? I imagine it will get patched out. I don't think the firefox devs have any requirement to do the NSA's bidding.

its not just tor, no one on the internet is safe, no matter what security or configuration you have. These new quantom and foxacid servers they talk about can circumvent any known security measure apparently

I don't understand how that's not a criminal offense.

It's hacking, invasion of privacy, identity theft....

Which is why they want to pass SOPA and these other laws. It's to make the illegal things they're already doing, Legal.

Hey guys, there's this group called the New World Order, and they hire Sasquatches to assassinate aliens with fluoride poisoning. They hack the water treatment plants and the Illuminati release microchips that are invisible to the eye into the water as well so they can track everything you do. It is believed that Elvis (yeah, he's not dead!) devised this plan to get back at NASA for faking the moon landings.

funny, but this is not conspiracy, all of this is being leaked from a former NSA employee "E Snowden"

What? I was being serious. I saw the dirty Samsquantch last night when I was walking my dog. It happened right after a flying saucer beamed a Martian down and he probed me. I have a strange itch today but that's besides the point. The greasy Squantch stole my water bottle and my dog didn't even help defend me. I guess they are friends...

this is seriously getting ridiculous, according to a new snowden link all current amd and intel cpus have a backdoor, hidden processor space that can modified to hard code male ware into the cpu permanently. Seriously considering turning of the internet and not using it again

Posts link about well-known Firefox backdoor which caused child pornographers to get caught.

Makes unsubstantiated claim that "male ware" can be installed directly to a CPU.

Fail.

Note: I Googled this, and it's not being reported by ANY reputable news sites. Don't believe everything you read.

Yeah, there are only 2 types of people I hate in this world.

Dallas Cowboys fans and conspiracy theorists. Both are among the most annoying people in the world.

The only ones crying about it are the criminals.

The problem is is that the bad guys can use these new tools as well.

Think back to Sony and the rootkit, it went from a DRM to being the worst form of computer virus.

We have other examples to, like the nuclear plant that was hacked and had the cooling systems shut down to force the reactor to shut down..... That's scary, a computer virus could cause another Chernobyl.
The NSA is laying the framework to cause a global catastrophe that could wipe out the human race.

This can be prevented if the NSA knows before it happens.

The same criminals that drone strike other countries and bring in the illegal firearms for the criminals to use?
