I hope its not the usual stutter fest from AMD.

Looking at the reviews of the R9 280X, most of the stutter is gone.

most? Why not all.
AMD needs to reduce the loop counter some more.

Feel free to let them know how to do that. I'm sure they'd like to know.

nVidia keeps doing it lol

How else does nvidia keep getting "30% performance boost in xxx game" every new driver update.

It's a loop counter they are reducing :D

Nice, I think I'm about due for an upgrade. I don't see this 560ti going strong for much longer.

This card is gonna be overkill for 1080p

720p was the console standard this gen and every gpu out since 2008 has been overkill for that.

1080p is going to be the alleged console standard this year (with a lot of 720p30fps thrown in by lazy publishers who don't want to spend money on diminishing returns) so this card seems like it will start the push straight on up to the 4k standard in 2-3 years for Pc Gaming.

I hope its not the usual stutter fest from AMD.

But more importantly, hopefully this make nVidia pick up the slack and build better cards. The 700 series was very disappointing. Maybe the 800 series will be better.

Nvidia single cards have more stutter now. . .

I like their slide that says the 290x has twice the ROPs because 4k is twice the pixels. Marketing people can't math.

4k is about twice the number of pixels of 1600p like the slide shows.

Ah. I just glanced through, assumed they had a 1080 screen there.

Once we perfect building Mechs, I expect there to be a factory in Mexico pumping out a brand call Mechsican. I wanna buy me a Mechsican.
