I just came across this laptop insanely cheap and am wondering just how good it is for gaming. Don't have much experience with PC gaming so bear with me.

Acer Aspire V5-571G
Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2365M CPU @ 1.40GHz
4GB RAM
64-bit OS
NVIDIA GeForce 620M 1GB

Well even running everything at low settings, would it still be any way decent? The guy I'm gettin it off of has played plenty of games on it, including the new Tomb Raider and XCOM.

either he's lying, or he hooked it up to an external 1x1 pixel monitor and played.

It's not going to be very good but it's better than your average run of the mill laptop on account of having that GT 620M. I imagine its screen resolution is 1366x768 and I expect it'll run most games at least OK at that resolution. If I can maintain 20+ FPS in Crysis 2 on my 2012 MacBook Air, which is weaker than that, you should do OK too... just don't expect to crank up the video settings all the way.

Absolutely horrid cpu. I have a netbook with a better cpu. I wouldn't pay more than $50 for that.
