The biggest problem with the Seiki TVs as monitors is that they are limited to 30hz at the 4k resolution. The Qnix will probably have a higher quality panel as well with better color accuracy and viewing angles and such.

For me personally, the 30hz kills the deal for me. I'll wait until they make a version with a Displayport or an HDMI 2.0 port. It is very tempting though. The 39" has a higher pixel density than even the 1440p monitors.

30Hz is unacceptable for any kind of computer usage.

Why 2x 144p? Why not 3x 1440p?

Yeah I was reading that with the seikai tv's and the 30hz refresh rate that games looked very very very nice but very very very choppy! Not worth it unless 60hz and up.

Just to add also, if you get the DVI only version of the Qnix they almost always guarantee an overclock to 96hz. I was able to take mine to 120hz immediately when my Qnix arrived, although not all can hit 120hz and some can go past. It is a bit of a gamble to go with a Korean Samsung PLS panel but the odds are in your favor in my opinion, plus if you buy at the right time you save so much money. I paid $269 for mine from ebay seller Green-Sum, although last I checked the prices were rising.

Oh, you thought they made this game for you? You clearly bought the wrong game.

I'd go 2k personally. I'd wait until the version 2.0 seikei's to come out at 60hz before considering those. From what I've heard those 2k korean panels are pretty sweet and quality control has gotten a lot better since they first hit the scene.
