my wife got an A8 with a 6750M that ran the BF4 beta better than my 660ti at 720p (lol beta was awful) for 500 a couple years ago.

whatever cheap amd apu a8 4500m laptop will play stuff on 720p on low or you could lower the resolution even more. Even intel hd4000 can play stuff on 720p on low, I know alot of elitist knock it, but, not all people are picky. I don't have a laptop but I was thinking of getting the amd apu a8 4500m, laptops are fairly cheap and if you look on youtube it'll play games where people are testing it, don't expect 60fps on bf3 multiplayer though.

Yeah, this board is full of crap. They have no idea about the topic but feel like adding their opinions anyway. HP DV6-6135DX is a good example of a tremendous gaming laptop for cheap. They were around $649 new, and hovered below $500 refurbished for a long time. The A8-3500M and 6750M in Dual Graphics mode has no trouble running games like GW2, Battlefield 3, and Skyrim on high settings (1366x768).

Look for something with an AMD APU and a discrete graphics card. Dual graphics is a game changer.

Sounds like the DV6-6135DX, actually. Fancy that. Anyway, I own one, and they kick ass. They're like the hidden gem of laptops. I also have a desktop that has since replaced it, since obviously it's not a KILLER gaming machine, but it's more than adequate.

Because misinformed posters like yourself had no idea how to answer the OP's question.
