The only good deals I know of for 1440p monitors are the Korean imports like the Catleap. They're fairly cheap even compared to what you'll find other 1440p monitors for on sale, as long as you're ok with having no real support or return options and taking the risk on buying one.
I've been using one for almost a year and a half and it's pretty nice, if not versatile in the least. It also demands that you keep a pretty decent video card in your system.

It's what, 6 weeks away? I'd wait and see what deals there are, researching the models you might want in the meantime. You can always get one after BF if there are no good deals. --- Intel i5 4670K | Corsair 16GB DDR3 | Gigabyte GTX 770 4GB | ASUS 27" 1440p Corsair 480GB SSD | WD 4TB HDD | Fractal Design R4 | Corsair 750MX | Win7Ult 64
