Hello, I'm trying to create a build for around 1000. I have Windows 7 already, as well as an 128 GB SSD/1GB HD, monitors, etc.

I was looking at the R9 280 that just came out. Is it worth it?

Also, is liquid cooling worth it? I was thinking about over clocking possibly.

I don't think that'll last you long.

Getting a 770 over the r9 280x is a stupid decison, even for the most zealous of fanboys.

Agreed. r9 280x is pretty much on par with the 770... and $130 cheaper. Unless you REALLY want physx, go the 280x
