Winamp as always. Love this enhancer plugin. Colors your music in just the right way imo. I like the 'general improvements' preset.

All of the popular media players work fine in Windows 8 so it really doesn't matter what you use. Use the one you like. Of course Windows 8 comes with its own, but it's a full screen "Metro" app so it might annoy you. I use Winamp as I have done since 1997.
