You won't be able to run the next Crysis.
Hell, next "Crysis" is probably going to be a 8k game that no sli / xfire is going to b be able to run.

good. we need that. something that nextgen consoles wouldn't have a chance in hell of running

As well as all but 2-4% of the PC gaming market - I'm sure Crytek will see healthy profits from them *eyeroll* - also I remember reading an interview with Crytek personnel/the CEO in a Game Informer where he stated that their games will be F2P going forward, so I HIGHLY doubt they would shoot themselves in the foot by creating a game/engine that nobody but the small sliver that spends $3000+ on their PC for gaming could play.

No, we need games with better gameplay and story.

Go outside if you want good graphics.

Too much bloom outside

I agree. Outside graphics are terrible. Overuse of bloom during the day, the other day it was foggy and the draw distance was abysmal. When I drink too much, the frame rate is all over the place. The dev(s) really need to go back to the drawing board on this whole visual existence thing. 4/10.

Crysis was alright, and the whole suit modes mechanic was somewhat interesting, but aside from the graphics there want a whole lot that set it apart from Halo/Killzone and such. Its far from a definitive game, and more of a GPU stability benchmark for me.

Yes, I'm sure 20-30 FPS at 800x600 is a great experience.
