Help with Crysis with 360 controller?

#1sonicteam2k1Posted 10/12/2013 4:47:31 PM
Please don't say kb/m because i do use it when I'm at my desk but I'm playing on my TV now in my gaming chair.

I have everything mapped like I want via the actionmaps file but

I cannot get the ADS set to "hold" and..

I cannot "toggle" the crouch correctly. I can toggle crouch, but i need to press jump to rise again, which is kinda strange. I would like to press "B" again to rise.

can anyone help?

I'm afraid that's as good as it's going to get. There's absolutely no way to set ADS to "hold" short of patching the executable.

EDIT: That's also true for KB+M.

Crouch toggle doesn't work as expected either. Like I said, your custom config is as good as it gets. ;-)

alright man, thanks I appreciate it.

I have one last question. I got my config from someone who uploaded them, but tghere is one option I do not understand

D-pad Down = moveback (Note: moveback mapped for “Maximum Armor” double

I have no idea what that means. This is where I got it from

Even worse. I think that game introduces dual wielding and your right gun becomes left trigger while your left gun remains on the right trigger.

Driving remains horrible D:

Yeah Crysis + Warhead has terrible a terrible controller scheme. Crysis 2 and onwards were designed with controller in mind though and I loved it ;D

The console war is over, both consoles have gone casual, neither won the war. They both just kind of...gave up.

Yep. I don't currently have Warhead installed, but I'm pretty sure it's the same. Anyhow, I'd still recommend one playthrough of both games in spite of the controls.

Crysis + Warhead aren't TV friendly, sadly. Maybe once Valve's controller comes out it'll be a good alternative.
