I'm getting kinda crappy framerates in Assassin's Creed III

Fx-6300 @ 4.3 GHz and a GTX 760. Processor is killing me in the large areas, isn't it?

Lots of people have trouble with AC3.

I had to basically just ignore inconsistent framerate in order to enjoy the game.

It actually runs fine for me except in boston but it's still playable. Turn off hid devices it could help.

Hopefully that's the case for me too, I only just got to Boston and I was a constant 60 fps until then

Turning down environmental detail will increase FPS substantially in my experience.

I know it's a workaround and not a fix.... but maybe you want to try it.
