Yes, idle. Went up to 96 while playing a game. What should it idle at normally?

My 670 idles around 30c. You have a problem there.

76c at idle is too high, should be around 30c usually... Make sure the fans are spinning.

What is your GPU? If it is old, you might have to take the cooler off and reapply some thermal compound.

Just a though, have you clean the fan or fans in the video card? if it has some dust stuck in there it would overheat like this.
