What game genre can you just not enjoy no matter how good the game is?

Really any sports game that isn't Fifa.. and now becoming Fifa. I don't like the ridiculously over
complex control schemes in many of those games.

Simulation racing/driving.

Card/Collecting/Pokemon whatever type games.

You should probably list Puzzle Platformers too, if you didn't like Portal 2 simply because it is one.

Is that even a genre?

From the store page
Escape Goat is a puzzle platformer where you take control of a goat, who has been imprisoned for witchcraft, and overcome traps and obstacles to escape the Prison of Agnus. Fear not, for with your supreme agility, sturdy horns, and the help of a magic mouse friend, you can turn the tables on foes and use the environment to your advantage.

It's not a genre that you can search through entirely on its own on steam, but you can search for puzzle platformer and find a bunch of stuff.

Sports games. I find madden, fifa, NBA 2k or w/e its called super boring. IF i want to play basketball i go and do it. If i want to watch lebron james play i watch it on TV.

I think this is why I hate the Indie scene with violent passion.

-Any realistic sports game, except for golf games, which are oddly relaxing (certainly more than real golf). Sports games like Mario Tennis, however, are fine (in moderation).

-MMOs. They're not that fun, take up way too much time, and the fact that most of the popular ones charge a monthly fee on top of their purchase price doesn't help anything.

I'd have to agree with Sports games, although I actually love sports, I just don't enjoy video games based around sports.
