I have nero 12 and am trying to copy my wedding video. Never copied a DVD before, I have always downloaded my media or streamed it. Could anyone point me to a tutorial? The ones on youtube don't seem to cover nero 12 and i'm new to this.

First, make sure you have the right type of DVD to copy to. If the original is dual layer it's much, much easier to copy to a dual layer and you will retain all the menus and such. If the original is a single layer then it doesn't really matter. A single layer won't have more than 4.5GB on it while a dual layer can have about 9GB.

Then you just pop in the original, open Nero and choose the "Copy Entire DVD" option. If you have two optical drives you can put the original in a DVD reader and the blank in a DVD writer and copy it directly, otherwise just pop the original in the writer and Nero will make a disc image first before prompting you to swap the original for the blank.
