Man pretty game but holy crap. I had to turn everything to low-medium to get 60fps. even with AA completely off. I'm on the first level and it seems like the rain is the biggest problem. Does the game rain much? When I'm not in the rain the game has no problem with holding 60fps. I have

The first level has some ropes that kill the FPS, for some reason. Try testing on the 2nd or 3rd.

Once we perfect building Mechs, I expect there to be a factory in Mexico pumping out a brand call Mechsican. I wanna buy me a Mechsican.

nah I don't have an aftermarket cooler and i'm too lazy to install one. I did it on my last CPU and it took a while.

I'll crank it up to high on the next level and see what happens

^This. No point at all in having a 7970 if you aren't at at LEAST 4.2 GHz with that i5.

In that case, you wasted money getting an overclocking chip and mobo.

You dont need an aftermarket cooler to get a decent OC. Stock is good enough.

Considering the overclocking models are cheaper than the non-k procs dude to bundles a lot of the time...

Really? I do builds here pretty much every day and I've never seen it once. The K CPUs are typically 20-30 dollars more and the mobos are 30-40 more for a decent one, promos included.

You can do modest overclocking on the stock cooler.
