Obsidian is finally getting to make their dream, passion project without having to produce what shareholders think will make the most profit.
I have huge faith in Josh Sawyer. He comes across as extremely intelligent and passionate for role-playing and making games.
Torment, I'm a little skeptical on, only because inXile is a little unproven at this point.

Could end up like Shadowrun Returns

I haven't been following it that closely of late (thanks for the reminder) but I have huge hopes for Project Eternity, and to a much greater extent, Star Citizen. --- | i7-3930K | MSI Big Bang-XPower II | GTX 680 4GB X2 | CORSAIR DDR3 32GB | Thermaltake TP Grand 1200W | Seagate 240GB SSD | WD Black 4TB | Fractal Define XLR2 |
Already paid for both of em, but each update is always interesting and doesn't look like a flop in progress. Especially happy for Obsidian, not having to be pressured into making a deadline, and they always put out games that are my favorites of the gen --- http://i.imgur.com/1XJz6.gif http://steamcard.com/do/nxe/thebotqueen.png http://raptr.com/badge/thebotqueen/ach.png

They look interesting. I'm more confident in Eternity quality wise, but a bit wary of its name and Obsidian's sloppiness. They make great games, but my New Vegas still crashes every two hours.
