I am most displeased with my Logitech performance MX mouse

I had mine for about a year now.

It came with a premium price tag. I thought I was getting a premium product.

While it works on glass it doesn't actually work on all surfaces.

The mouse frequently suffers from problems with static buildup. Sometimes its almost impossible to highlight a few paragraphs of words without it breaking the highlight in the middle.

It has amazing range though. I got my mouse cursor to move with the mouse halfway down the street. Battery life is also nice.

I'm preparing for global flooding. I need to calculate how well it will work underwater.

^not serious btw.

I really like mine. I've had it for about 7-8 months and it works like a charm. Feels so nice in my hands, too.

Sounds like you might actually need to use it on a different surface. Never used their consumer-line of mice really. My brother has them on his PC in the living room, and they are nice. But I think they are the kind of mouse that is just loaded with features, yet does not offer anything great in terms of reliability and sensor quality.

I went with the G700 wireless mouse. No complaints thus far.

I love mine. Also... static buildup? What? What kind of surface are you trying to use it on, a balloon?

Wood. >.>

Static buildup was logitech's explanation on their forums.

The mouse is fine when I take out the battery, turn it off and click it for a while.
