My advice is to not game when you're in the can't game mood. Forcing yourself to do so or saying "well, I'll start this game up and hopefully I'll have fun" is a bad idea, in my experience. It turns gaming into a boring chore.
It's hard, but finding a new hobby or something to do around town is a good idea. Something productive is probably the best thing.
