Not really interested in either. Too many good indie games coming out to get hype for crappy AAA titles.

ADD, no. Where is the thread for Fallout OCD players?

Iam opimistic, Considering DAI was suppose to come out fall 2013, but they let bioware delay it till fall 2014.

This true? A full year delay? Nice.

Yes. Thats why there able to have multiple playable races now

Witcher 3 is a blind buy. DAI will demand a price drop and user reviews gameplay to kick in.
Thing is Witcher 2 was so short even going both routes. I fear the prettier things get the shorter they are getting. Witcher 2 was the better game but it looks like origins style and story has been abandoned so DA is as good as dead for me until the bargain bin. Where it will likely belong. Who knows though but thats the predisposition they earned. Always up for a good suprise.

I don't consider Witcher 2 short at all for the type of game it was.

Witcher 3 is going to be awesome.

As someone who loved DA Origins so much (finished it 4 times) DA2 made me sick and has ruined the series for me. What sucks even more is that DA3 is going to follow that games horrendous story and characters.

So does most every other RPG. That's not what the genre is about.
The way to really enjoy those games is to play with the Full Combat Rebalance mod, which makes the combat actually make sense.

Yeah? Every other RPG has awkward nonsensical combat like the witcher?

Nothing nonsensical about it. It's all timed button taps and preparation.

My main complaint with the witcher 2. How do you know what to prepare for in that game? I mean I usually had a regen up but the whole sit and meditate thing to quaff a potion got old real fast... Maybe having a sixth sense mechanic or something to warn you of upcoming dangers would have helped. Also rarely if ever used traps. Didn't seem as useful as they could have been because again you had no idea when or where the enemies would be before it was too late.
