As far as I know: officially, no, but there are 2560x1440 monitors you can overclock up to 120 Hz.

Yes, there are. And they are cheaper and provide better picture than a regular 27". I've got one.

same here. I won't be going 4k either until gpu's catch up. my gtx 780 stuggles with demanding games at 1440p. also I can't game at 60hz... its just terrible compared to 120...

once u get used to 120 there is no going back. so until 4k becomes overclockable... which it prob never will, lol

Seriously, when do you think that will be the case for PC use at least? 1080p is the current standard now. You think people will skip over 1440 straight to 2160?

I see 1080p being the standard for probably another 10 years, not necessarily for PC use, but like televisions, consoles, the peasantry.

120hz 1440p is for the nobility. 1080p 60hz and 4k 30hz is for peasants.
