How to OC my GPU?

#115RCPosted 10/16/2013 4:02:23 PM
Just got in a 7950 card by HIS. It includes some software, but I'm not sure which exactly is recommended for overclocking. The software include is called iTurbo. I know there's CCC by AMD. I've also read about MSI Afterburner, but is that only for MSI cards?

Great. Kind of getting used to it. Do you recommend setting the fan at Auto?

Yeah unless you've having overheating problems auto should be fine.

Cool. How's 3Dmark Basic for benchmarking?

Edit: I've tried 3Dmark Basic. I have yet to increase the voltage. I increased the Core Clock so far and nothing has gone wrong, temps are also fine. The stock Core Voltage is 1125. The highest the Core Voltage has reached in GPU-Z is 1.238. Should I increase the voltage or is that OK?

Thanks, I'll check it out. Just wondering if voltages need to be increased if my PC has yet to show any issues after running 3Dmark Basic. The average voltage is like 0.95 or so, and the highest point was 1.238. The voltage is set to 1.125.
