Is there any particular reason you have your SSDs set up in a RAID 0 configuration?
Just about everything I've read says that real life performance (vs synthetic benchmarks) advantages of SSDs in RAID 0 aren't that much better compared to single drives. Also, although the chance of failure is lower than traditional HDDs, all it takes is one bad drive to bring down the whole array, and statistically you're more likely to run into a failure the more elements you have in such an array... not a good thing for an OS hosting drive IMHO.
If it were my system, I'd either go RAID 1 or have them each be their own discrete drive with different OSes on them.
Thanks for the advice everyone, sorry I was at work all day. I actually have an upgraded cooler inside already... It's a thermaltake Tt-805a? But I'm nervous about overclocking, considering I have no idea what I'm doing yet. --- PSN: J-Kisner
