What price do you think it will come out at? What price is reasonable for this card to you after seeing some benchmarks?
Personally, I think a price of around 500 would be enticing for me. It will perform at around 2x 7950s which comes to $400 so around there would be good for me. --- Xbox Live GT:ScaryPillow , iHaruyuki TERA: LoL : ScaryPillow Maplestory: MLGLordly 16x I/L Arch Mage

I think it's releasing at around $650-$700, as of the 10th it's rumored the card will be $699.99

shouldn't have been more than 400 but thanks to nvidia it will be. --- Laugh, and the world laughs with you. Weep, and you weep alone. The armory of god is guarding me but all you can see is holographic artistry.

If it's over $600, I'd consider that a failure. --- http://img356.imageshack.us/img356/8325/scrunchface2copyfx0.png http://www.xboxlc.com/cards/default/alle5.jpg
Is its release still pegged at around BF4's release date? Do high-profile GPUs like this usually have so little information about them?
That said, what are the rumors for the nVidia's lineup, anything worth watching? --- Xbox Live GT:ScaryPillow , iHaruyuki TERA: LoL : ScaryPillow Maplestory: MLGLordly 16x I/L Arch Mage

If they pull a smart move like they did with the R9 280X, they'll price it to be cheaper than the GTX780.
Ergo, offering the customer performance per $ value that Nvidia can't beat.
Even if you give up sales on Titan class cards, the amount of profit from such a small % of the entire GPU market isn't worth it compared to lower performing cheaper tier GPU brackets.

I think $550 will be a good price. AMD could charge up to $650 and still have a better deal than the GTX 780, but neither card is worth that much tbh. --- Intel Core i7 3820 | EVGA X79 SLI K2 | MSI 7950 Twin Frozr III | Samsung / 840 120GB / 8GB RAM | 1TB WD Caviar Blue | Corsair / 550D / H70 | Silencer MKIII 600W

GTX 780 = $650 MSRP
If I was to guess, based on leaked rumors, R9 290X should go for $600 and be able to perform close to Titan levels but not beat it.
That should more than cement the R9 290X's performance per $ value which is good enough for me IMO.
Who cares about the best performing GPU, unless you plan on buying it, it really has no meaning to you as an individual, what has meaning is what GPU you buy and how much perf it gives you for the amount of money you're willing to spend. --- Are you a MexiCAN or a MexiCAN'T - Johnny Depp 'Once Upon A Time in Mexico'
