Bought a new monitor about a few weeks ago and loving it so far. But last night I would say about 20% of the monitor went gray ish. You can still see images through the gray it just looks like a crappy filter on part of the screen.
I've unplugged it and tried other things to no avail. I just would rather not go through the hassle of getting it fixed / exchanging it at best buy so I wonder if there is anything I can do or its just a lemon .
Here's a picture of what it looks like

oddly enough the gray area is starting to fade. Its still there and visible just not as prominent.
well I have to handle the rma through dell anyways because its 5 days outside BB 14 day return policy.
If your a rewards member you get 60 days and i have always been able to return monitors in 30 days
I'm going to call the store and ask before boxing this thing up and dragging it up there. If thats the case then I'll be fine because I am a rewards member but just glancing over their policy it seems to have changed recently --- beat the b**** up; jello pudding
nothing wrong with buying from best buy as long as the price is right.
better than amazon thats for sure assuming the price is the same. --- Laugh, and the world laughs with you. Weep, and you weep alone. The armory of god is guarding me but all you can see is holographic artistry.
