Back when I first played WoW, exploring the world was one of the most fun things to do.
I have to say I kind of agree. When I got into this game (I think it was 2005 or 2006) this was amazing. It was also my first MMO.
At the time Morrowind was released I also think it was amazing. The freedom you had in that game blew my mind at the time.
But when you say the world magical and enchanting. The games that pop up in my head are Secret of Mana. Just look at the box art for gods sake. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/b/b7/Secret_of_Mana_Box.jpg

Dreamfall. Replayed it recently and the graphics have aged well, and it has the most imaginative and enchanting game world ever. Contrary to popular belief, it is actually an indisputable fact that it is a better game than TLJ... --- Posted using GameFlux

For me it's Vana'diel.
So many things about Final Fantasy XI just drew you into the world of Vana'diel and never let you go. --- Each person might see a rose with a different shade of red, but the fact that we can all agree on is beauty -- that is a miracle. -Michea, FFXI
