Is it possible to have an email be sent to another label in Gmail?

For example, if I get emails from my professor I want it to go to a "Professor" inbox rather than my primary inbox. How can I go about doing that?

Create a filter for your professors email, checkmark "Skip the Inbox (Archive it)" and apply the label to where you want it.

If AMD goes down Intel might safely release i9 for $300 and i7 for $200 and i5 for $100 and i3 for free. - su27Chaos<
