$350 upgrade budget suggestions

with the upcoming holiday season sales, I have saved up a bit to update my pc. So here is my build at the moment. Not that great, at first I just want to get the components ready just to get something started. So its been close to a year now.

Definenitly a new card, was thinking a 660 (cause of the sale) or a 7870 (xfx version due to card size). or the new r9 270x.

HDD, I can take out the 500gig in my ps3 since its close to dying to use on my pc, its a 2.5 7200rpm laptop hdd though. so far I still got 346gig left. I do have also 2 500gig externals.

whatever left over get either a new case like the corsair 300R or a new cpu cooler, the corsair H60. Or maybe a new modular psu.

Any suggestions?

The #1 improvement you can make that affects every aspect of your computer usage is a SSD. You can spend less than $100 and see big speed improvements across the board. It doesn't affect gaming too much other than killing loading times, but once you try it, it's hard to go back to a HDD.

I already got a 120gig ssd already, it was either get a ssd and get a lesser gpu or forgo ssd and get a big gpu. and yes having an ssd is amazing.

Mostly getting a gpu for ff 14, I am not really interested in the next gen games much. Since I built this pc primmerly for older games and ff 11.
