Suggestions for a fast/cheap printer?

#1Lord_VaderPosted 10/21/2013 8:55:36 PM
I'm on a budget but also need a printer for college. It should be reasonably cheap (no more than $75). I basically just need it to print color pages, be fast, and print double-sided. I don't care about scanning or photocopying or any of the extra stuff since I already have an older printer that does that but it's horribly slow. So anyone know of any such printers that fit my criteria?

Walk into Walmart and buy whatever HP printer is on sale.

For what you're doing, that will do the job.

Most printers online don't seem to have duplex printing capabilities unless you're willing to pay $100+ which is annoying.

They usually have a mode where it guides you through the act of flipping the page after it comes out of the printer...

One thing to take into account even more than the price of the printer is the price of the ink-cartridges.

Some printer are cheap, but a single ink-cartridge is sometimes more than half the price of the entire printer.

Well by next week preferably but I can wait if it's gonna be cheaper for me.

And referring to the double sided printing, I want it to do that automatically so I don't have to keep feeding the pages in.
