What recent games can I run at high settings on my GTX 780M 4gb?

I don't know much about that kind of hardware.

I'm guessing at 1080p? I see a lot of people here mainly play at that resolution + 60 fps.

Really? I had no idea. :O

About when will it become "outdated" by most standards?

I wouldn't say every game at 60FPS...
but it definitely will play most modern games at 40+

This is only if you have a GTX780m and not a GT
2 entirely different chips.

Yep

3.5 GHz i7
8gb ram
and GTX 780M 4gb

I will expand the ram to 32gb most likely. Not sure how much of a difference it will make but I could use the extra ram.

What version of windows do you have installed? And what do you plan on "using" this extra ram for?

Windows 7

I do 3d graphics and animation. I use photoshop and after effects too. I'm only a beginner though but might as well get more ram since I have extra money.

FYI if you have Windows 7 Home Premium (which you most likely do) it only supports 16GB of RAM regardless of what your motherboard can handle.
