about 2 or so minutes into lynchwood my game will crash to the desktop. a buddy of mine was hosting the game. So I rolled back drivers to when i never had issues. still crashing. so I dust out my computer and PSU with a can of air, still having the issue.

then I notice something. When playing alone the problem was not happening.

So I decided to host the game instead, and bingo no crashing.

this has never happened before. I've played this game for over 200 hours and this is the first time this has happened. At first I thought it was because of the new drivers I installed but I rolled them back and still got the same issue. But it seems to only happen when my buddy host's the game.

I have

i5 3570K
Sapphire Vapor X HD7970 GHZ Edition
8GB Corsair XMS RAM
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

Has anyone experienced this before???

try disabling the launcher when you start the game.

I had the exact issue you're describing. I ran memtest and found errors. I replaced my memory to a kit from the qualified vendor list in the motherboards manual and I haven't had a single blue screen or crash since.

so you think it's a memory leak? But it's only crashing that game. No other. no blue screen either. just says boarderlands 2 stopped working.

Try verifying install?
Wow the amount of ignorant elitism here is staggering and facepalm worthy, to say the least. -SPYDER0416

yeah I verified the game's integrity last night. 1 file was not verified and was corrected but still having the same issue. It's weird because when I host or play alone, problem isn't even there.

Try running the game in compatibility mode.

I wonder why sonicteam likes breaking all his games so much, almost as much as coolpal23 does.
