For single player, as low as the mid-high 20s is usually workable depending on genre. For multiplayer it's less about the framerate than the stability. I'd take a dead stable 30 over a spiky 60 any day, but stable 60 is obviously preferred --- If they asked how I died tell them: Still angry.

30+ is ideal for me with respect to single player games. 60+ for any FPS or Multiplayer / Shooter.
I will not play any title at 25 FPS or below. --- Yes We Did | PSN: TheLastOf | RIP: MGO Tuco: If you work for a living, why do you kill yourself working?

Playable for me is 24+. If it can stay at 24fps and above then that's fine. Anything lower just causes issues for me. I'm used to playing 60+ though.......however, some of my older games ONLY run @ 25-30fps [BS console ports to PC etc]. --- NEW Video Game Remakes Uploaded http://www.youtube.com/user/sknocturnal

It depends on the game. Whenever it becomes so bad that it's a distraction from the action... The thing is, I upgrade my video card every couple of years and I don't buy cheap garbage cards so this is rarely an issue. --- http://badges.mypersonality.info/badge/0/19/193056.png http://www.speedtest.net/result/2309944238.png
