If it is that price I will LOL at anyone who bought a Titan so quick.

Yep, buying one back in February was definitely laughable. And the sad thing is that I'm probably going for a repeat early next year when its successor is rumored to be released. I guess I just can't help myself, you know? :-)

Having the best performance for 8 months at a premium was laughable? Maybe you chose the wrong hobby.

For most people an extra 400+ dollars for 8 months isn't worth it. For some it is. Meh.

Sorry about the apparently failed attempt at sarcasm.

Anyhow, I do believe it's been completely worth it, and like I said I'm going to be doing it again next year because I can't help it.

The Titan depreciated about 30% in 8 months? Heck, my HD 7950 depreciated more than that and its only been 6!

I think the bigger problem is the $1000 upfront.

My bad, that's what quickly reading posts on my phone will do. I completely misconstrued your post.

Considering the 7950 came out almost 2 years ago, not really.

It's like saying the Titan you bought last week depreciated in a week.

I expect Nvidia to drop prices pretty soon. Can't imagine they will leave it the way it is right now. Pretty hard to recommend nvidia to anyone looking to buy right now unless you get a 700 series on sale. They just flat out lose in price to performance.

If the price drop is coming, I'd imagine it's coming pretty soon. Has to be in time for the Christmas shopping season.

Yup, the 780 price point was only worth it near launch now it would be a bad move unless you can get a deal.

I have a feeling they're doing that game bundle deal as a way to get out of lowering their prices at all.
