So do you think Nvidia will start droping the price of their upper end cards?

Gibbo from OCUK is hitting 1220/6600 (effective) on his card

I think with custom coolers these things will OC pretty well even on air

AMD reference coolers have never been all that great.

It seems to be slower than Titan in 1080p, about the same at 1440p, and faster at 2160p.
I guess nVidia will have to step up their game for 2160p.

Really, though, it aught to be compared to 780, not Titan, in which case it's generally slightly faster for a lower MSRP.
One could assume nVidia will push out 780Ti and have it either competitive with 290x for ~$500, or slightly better for ~$600. If it's faster than Titan, Titan will probably be discontinued or drop significantly in price.

Also, Anand isn't showing crossfire frame timing for DX9 games. What gives?
It looks like it's finally working for DX10/11 titles, though. Comparing 290x CF with 280x CF is like comparing 7000 CF with 600 SLI

nvidia is screwed when it comes to pricing..unless the 780 drops to $550 and the 780ti $650

titan is useless now

i think it's nice

Why is the card beating the titan at 4k, does the vram not even matter? Titan was always way over priced for the speed increase it gave over the gtx 680 but damn now even 6gb vram doesn't matter even at 4k.

By the way is this the best version to get when it comes back in stock?

Anyone really think they can't do that? 780'll drop to vie with the 290x and the 780ti will take its old pricing spot. And all nVidia really has to do stomp the 290x performance wise with the ti is be willing to push heat/power a bit closer to what AMD's doing with that.

Should anyone really be surprised if that's a "No"? You're easily fillrate limited at that point.

AMD = NOT FINISHED YET

lol Gpu is trying carry the AMD company on it's back. Intel will finish AMD off.

I get that you have a favorite, but why would you even want that? If anything, this is a good thing for you. And if amd is ever finished, I hope someone is there to take their place and not let nvidia be a monopoly. Because if it does, we all lose.
