Actually just reinstalled the drivers and it seems to have worked, no more BSOD...

for now. Still getting a new card next week anyway.

I had issues with X1300 and X1900 with Maya and Blender. Hardware rendering mode was just full of glitches. But the ATI/AMD cards I had since then were pretty good for me.
