If I get fans with blades that are not black, should I paint them black?

If nothing else, by a totally insignificant and infinitely approaching zero percentage, black fans will probably provide hotter air flow due to the fact that black absorbs light more efficiently than other colors, thus heating up the blades more, which in turn will heat the air going through the fans.

And TC, red 'uns go faster. Not black.
WAAAAAAGH!

Black is far sexier then red. You will also get less tickets then if its red.

Even if that is true, I don't see how that will help much. People paint fans only for cosmetic purposes. If you think it will help with cooling, forget it. Paint the fan only if you just don't like the Noctua fan colors.

Clearly you have no idea of Krenzke's theorem on how varying wavelengths of light impact Bernoullian fluid dynamics.

As a physicist, this post amuses me.

theory (not a law)

And this causes me great physical pain.

This. That was awful KillerTruffle.

ChE here, can confirm that fluid mechanics are not affected in anyway shape or form by varying wavelengths of light. Also confirming that KillerTruffle's misunderstanding of the differences between a law and a theory in science was physically painful.

If anyone's interested in the differences between a law and a theory check out:

It's amazing how this went over so many people's heads.

@TC

You want flames. They're much more efficient than black paint, though they're much harder to pull off. Probably best to hire a professional. I suppose you could also paint it black first. Stands to reason that black with flames would be faster than not-black with flames.

But then again, the SJWs might lynch you for doing blackfan on fire.

She may have covered it, but it's a Stones original from the mid 60s, fifteen years before Vanessa Carlton was even born.
