At around 4 o'clock EST I was able to get one (MSI) into my cart at, enter in paypal and find out it would cost me $700 CAD shipped w/ BF4.

If it was just an error on Newegg's part by letting it be available let me know or do you think they just had limited stock?

Considering they still seem to be enthusiast-level for $700 shipped, do you think these will sell like Hotcakes?.

The taxes are so high in Canada, $599 + $13 shipping + 13% tax.

I imagine they are selling like hot cakes.
That is a high tax considering I pay no tax at all on newegg purchases (i live in Missouri). But Canada is doing much better than US as a country.

I'd say it's better to wait, anyway.

Lower prices, better coolers (I heard these cards get really hot), and fixed drivers (not sure about the 290X, but I read reviews for the 280X and quite a few of them had complaints about artifacting and stuttering) are worth it, IMO.
