troll topic. move along

Sad thing is, it isn't. It's just Terantatek being Terantatek

Also why'd you retire from anime? What did it in? Mine was Bleach.

Wasn't enjoying it anymore. It's too hard to find something that holds my attention. I still watched a tiny bit of anime last month but only titles I was truly interested in [Shingeki no Kyojin because I read the manga and School Days because it's a cult classic] but yeah for the most part I'm done with anime. Manga is my thing now.

You need ghost in the Shell SAC

I find it hard to believe that the console versions never skip a frame, and if a bit of frame skipping is that big of a deal to you then I don't know how you manage to enjoy any newer games. Not that Arkham City couldn't be better optimized on PC, but after disabling DX11 effects I was able to play through the game just fine, occasional skips aside.

Admittedly I didn't play AC anywhere near launch but it runs perfectly fine on my system completely maxed out @ 1080p with high FXAA/physx and my GPU isn't top of the line anymore, heck on stock clocks It's weaker then a 760 now. I had some stupid Vsync issues but once I sorted those out I ran it at full 60 FPS NP so I can't imagine they F-ed up AO much worse then I heard AC was on launch. AA ran smooth as butter but that is an olderish title now.

Only time I noticed an FPS dips in AC was when I was going through doors but I really didn't care if it dipped to 30 fps during a door opening animation.

Also since when do consoles have a constant 30 fps on all games by default lol That's some mythical BS console fanboy stuff if I've ever heard it.

Seeing as how Arkham City chugged well below 30fps while traversing the city on PS3 I can't imagine why you'd think the PS3 version of Arkham Origins would run at a solid 30fps or better than it will on your PC.

And frankly, 30fps is just painful even if it never dips below that. After playing a bunch of games that run at a solid 60fps on my PC (L4D2, SWAT4, and Warframe) I loaded up Dark Souls and my eyes were literally hurting for about half an hour before they adjusted to the 30fps. And even after adjusting it still looks and plays a lot worse at such a low framerate than it would at 60fps.

Not to mention higher resolution, AA/AF, physx, more then likely better textures on top of the 60 fps.

If it's anything like AC the difference between PC and PS3 (I actually had both versions because I got AC on PS3 as a Christmas gift) the difference in visual fidelity was enormous.

Ya I just booted up AC again. I get slow downs when gliding about every 6 seconds. If Arkham Origins is like that then ill pass. I tried on DX9 btw.

Does anyone playing get better performance than in AC?
