Suggestions for modest Video-Editing Software?

#1capgamerPosted 10/24/2013 5:46:42 PM
I'm looking for something reasonably cheap to edit stuff for my Youtube channel.

I don't need a lot of fancy features, just being able to do some fade-outs, title pages, split-screen would be very helpful. I've tried Microsoft's free movie maker and it chugs like crazy and crashes constantly, so I'm not feeling too positive about that.

Any suggestions?

If you create an Adobe account, you should still be able to get an older Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects for free.
Could be worse, they could have been American givers and you would have been smothered in small pox. -fakenamefignuts on Indian-Giving.

If the above fails, you could always try Lightworks. It's the only decent free video editing software I've seen. Another option is Sony Vegas, but it costs.
