Is this statement correct? (Consoles, gaming laptops, and gaming desktops)

I think even consoles will top a "high-end' gaming laptop.

It's not even close. A half decent "high end" laptop smashes consoles.

Pros: Yes it will, with portability.

Con: At 5x the price.

Irrelevant when the discussion is about power.

Misleading when you only compare them on gaming potential. A laptop will do more for you on daily basis than a console/handheld can, obviously.

I was agreeing to ''A half decent "high end" laptop smashes consoles.'' Add portability and the much wider range of products a laptop can offer, and it will win over consoles.

But I assume for gaming purposes only, in 3-4 years your laptop will be on its last stretch while a PS4 will still be kickin'.

For much less than the price you paid for such laptop today..

Which is why your opinion is irrelevant.

I'd probably take a PS4 over a 'gaming' laptop, if I'm honest.

My goodness, you raise some fine points, my dear.

You were flirting with some very solid arguments, but don't worry. I know what you mean. I know you better than anyone. Shush! Don't say a word.

I'm on your side. *wink*

I'd probably take console gaming over PC gaming anytime.
