Very nice! Will be buying some later this year.

Nvidia done.

Your Titan doesn't beat it?

I get over 13k in 3DMark Firestrike, as it gets 10.9, just say 11k, that is still 18% faster. Unless you're dropping these things on LN2 don't expect them to go past that. Might as well keep the Titan and wait for the 800 series. Just unlock the voltage and remove Boost 2.0 from the Titan.

The processor has the be the same, at the same clocks, for the comparison to be valid.

Not everybody buys new GPU's at the same time.

So the fact that AMD is offering significantly cheaper GPU's compared to it's Nvidia equivalent, is great for the consumer.

Not really, that's not how all reviewers compare GPU's.

They compare it based on price point.

Not for graphic score and mine is less of a processor than theirs.

Anyway, if you don't plan on OCing and need a new card NOW and don't wanna wait a month until Nvidia releases new variations of the GK 110 and price cut, which will cause AMD to probably drop their price the 290X is a fine card.

but, I wouldn't personally buy these reference pos models, I'd at least wait until something better from a 3rd party comes along. I learned my lesson the last time I purchased those pos 7970 reference models

Coil Whine, heat, fan noise galore, etc, etc

I prefer ASUS's version for cooling, they seem to have the right balance of cooling perf, noise, OC in their setups.
