On the subject of the PSU:

The video card you picked (and the 7870 in general) uses 2 6 pin PCIe connectors from the PSU. The Corsair CX430 PSU only has 1 6+2 pin connector. You will need either an adapter to convert a different cable to a 6 pin PCIe connector or a different PSU.

I've heard that powercolor sucks as a manufacturer for GPUs. Anyway, I did more homework after being considerably less stressed out, and this is what I'm definitely going with now:
