If it's 4 of these propping up a slab of granite, then you sir, win.

Still have my Ikea Jerker desk. Love the thing. Solid wood, adjustable height, lots of space. What I like the most is that it's 3' long by 4' wide meaning I have lots of leg room (I'm 6' 7.5" tall). Really regret not getting add-ons since it's discontinued now.

That's an old pic from 5 years ago. Now I have a new 27" monitor, PS3, etc.

Why would I, I have a nice old teakwood desk that is now very expensive to get, and that 25 years old chair is still serving me well.

PS2 is vintage, PS3 is last gen (at least until PS5 is announced). Also, I hope you didn't sell your PS2. Still having an working original is great. The amount of games for the thing is unprecedented. Import japanese titles for great effect.

Why do people buy a really nice truck and park it in front of their double-wide trailer home? Who knows...

Really Nice =/= super expensive. You can get some really great deals on various vehicle who people who have no interest in cars will mistake them for expensive. Hell, my initial investment in my jeep was minimal, yet it turned out pretty good for very reasonable price (most likely since I did the work myself).

...doesn't cost a ton. Please don't judge unless you're familiar with the platform.

Yes, of course, but I'm talking about say a brand new, model year Ford F350 nicely detailed sitting in front of a dump of a trailer with cheap plastic toys etc. littered around (I've seen it more than a few times)....obviously they're sinking all their money into that truck.

Right, I agree 100%.

People who buy new/go through life leasing new are dumb. (well, leasing is dumb as well, but I can at least understand the mentality).

Also, an F350 that's not a fleet truck is dumb. For 99% of homeowners, your F150/1500/1500 is going to do everything you could ever need. Hell, even a full sized is dumb for most people, where all you need is to do light duty trailer hauling for the most part. Hell anything with a dedicated frame will do for most people.

Wouldn't a smaller SUV like a RAV4 be more useful for 99% of homeowners than a truck of that size?

Depends on if you have the space in your yard for a small trailer or not. Most of the time it's not the weight that you have to concern yourself with, but how bulky thing thing is you're trying to move.
