First Build: How much power is actually needed?

The 600W is just a placeholder for now.

Also any general advice you'd care to mention is fine.

Find reviews of the GTX 760 to give you an idea on how much power you need.

Generally a good 500W unit is fine, is you plan on running an SLI/CF setup you'll want more like 650W.

Yeah, 500W is about standard I think so long as you don't do any crazy overclocking or multi GPU setups.

I have a very similar build. Same CPU, exact same GPU. I have a 550 watt corsair PSU and it is fine. You should be fine with 600 watt. Unless you expect to make change in the future that till make your system more demanding.
