get system shock 2 for cheap on steam right now... not exactly something that'll stress your system in the slightest but it's a must play either way.

if you wanna test your system then metro 2033 + last light are also on sale.

borderlands 2 is $10 on greenmangaming.

2 for $15 deal here: http://www.getloadedgo.com/
personally i would choose sleeping dogs and hitman absolution but since you're not into stealth then pick something else.

also, tomb raider is $12.5 on its parent site and if you have an amd card you might wanna stress test it for dat tressfx shampoo hair physics.

anyways you should just get something to tide you over till the winter sale comes around across all stores before spending big money.

I've played fallout to death on consoles lol

fallout on console =/= fallout on PC.

get them cheap when you can and mod the **** out of them for a much improved experience.

I really enjoyed BioShock Infinite, but it goes on sale pretty often. I'd wait

Also, care to share your PC specs or any pics of your system?

Hm these are the specs I think are important (my friends are the PC wizes, not me)

Processor: Intel(R) Core (TM) i5-3570k CPU @ 3.40GHz 3.80 GHz

RAM: 8gb

It's a GIGABYTE

Good processor and RAM.

What's the video card (if any) that it's using?

To check:
Hold Windows Key and hit R
Type "dxdiag" and hit OK
Click the "Display" tab in the window that opens
Tell us what's listed next to "Name" and "Chip Type"

I'm looking at Mount and Blade Warband, don't quite get it

Is it story oriented?

The vanilla game doesn't really have a story. It's a sandbox/open world kinda RPG thing. You basically do whatever you want within the limits of the game.

However if you mod it, which you should and it's extremely easy to do, you can add a lot to the game. New/better items, map, characters, graphics, a story if you want...there's a lot of good mods out there for it. Like say you're a Game of Thrones fan...there's a mod that lets you play within that world. You'll meet characters, pick a side during the war, betray them, rise up through the ranks. Whatever you feel like doing.
