Which game implemented the best New Game+ mode?

The two Chrono games. With the 12ish endings in Trigger, NG+ is a must. Cross added the wonderful option to double the speed of your gameplay, and if I remember correctly, three playthroughs are required to unlock every possible party member.

Chrono Trigger/Cross.

Vagrant Story had a good New Game +, too. It added lot of extra content after first completion, and you got to keep pretty much everything, including weapons, items, and stats. It's very satisfying being able to run up to a giant minotaur on your second playthrough and punch it to death.

Chrono Trigger has one of the first NG+ modes and it's one of the best.

Tactics Ogre for the PSP.

You keep everything, including your entire roster.

You do not have to start from the beginning. The game has dozens of anchor points along a branching storyline that you can jump to, backward or forward. When you jump to an anchor point, the game loads the story and story-relevant character progression as it was at that point, so it is as if you picked up from there.

Tales of series is easily the best I have seen so far.

Like already said you can pick and choose whatever you want to keep. The thing I hate most in any game that has a NG+ is when they force you to keep your levels, (games like Disgaea being the exception). to me that just makes the game boring.

I've never seen a bad one.

I can't remember which game, but I remember a recent one only lets you do a New Game + once, and once you finish it it deletes your save forever.
It's okay, I have no idea who I am either.
