Wow, HBAO+ works great in DMC4.

Too bad the game isn't really that great, but it sure does look nice with HBAO+! And still runs 120fps with a mid-range GPU.

Do you have to force it through Nvidia Control Panel? Or is ti an option in-game?

Thanks for the heads up, installing it now.

True, DMC4 is one of the games that greatly benefits from it; Dead Space also seems to work well. On the other hand, Mass Effect, Bioshock, Assassin's Creed, etc., have had their "quality" AO profiles rendered pretty much useless with the latest drivers. The AO shading flickers on and off as you move the camera, and it's just awful. Here's hoping Nvidia will take the time to revise all of the AO profiles.

This is actually a problem in seemingly every game. I think it has to do with collecting Z information, because in most games, being in a particular location and looking in a particular direction will make the HBAO+ vanish. In most games, it doesn't happen that often, but in some, it's super annoying.
Here's hoping they fix it, because it really can be quite sexy when it's working right.
