I'm testing OC on my video card (Sapphire vapor-x 7970 GHz edition)
and at stock it get's about 62 C at 1920X1080 with 8X MSAA with no crash.
I had it clocked higher and I ran a stress test and the PC restated due to overheating but didn't get to see what the card's temp was before the crash.
What is a safe temp to OC a GPU? --- See The Game Collection http://www.gamespot.com/users/nights_team2k7/games_table?mode=own

It would be preferable to have GPU and GPU VRM temps at no higher than 90C. --- 3570K (4.8 GHz) | Dual-X 7970 | ASRock Z77 OC Formula | Corsair Vengeance 2x 4 GB | WD Black 1 TB | Corsair TX750 | XSPC Raystorm 750 RS240 Kit | NZXT Phantom

I won't let my 7970 over 80 --- http://pcpartpicker.com/b/GCJ http://youtu.be/0eSfcUzGTdk
