I'm supposed to be buying plane tickets this week, not a monitor that I don't need... Though I can afford both, it would mean pushing back my motorcycle purchase another month...

It will still be great for next gen in 1080p, and it will soon drop in price, not sure when, NVIDIA already confirmed the price drop though.
