Thinking of building a PC instead of getting a PS4. Thoughts?

But can it play all the exclusive games that a $400 console can?

Nope. Good thing most exclusives suck.

Nope. It's a good thing most of them are great. Get better taste.

Not sure how this saving money thing works lol. PS4 is not gonna drop down in price by much. You get a PC now you need to spend alot to compete with the PS4 but in 2 year or more you can get a PC for cheap and the hardware will be way better then console now.

So in two years. You might save 50 bucks on a PS4 and the hardware will be the same performance as now. Spend 1000 now on a PC and the performance barely beating PS4 or 2 years form now and you can get same performance for half the price, or get much better performance.

Beganning of a console life is not the best of time to enter PC gaming for cheap.

PC hardware doesn't need to match console hardware in price when PC gamers save literal thousands from the software they buy. http://www.steamgamesales.com/

depends on people i guess. Grabbing hundreds of junk that you'll put max of 5 minutes into the game doesn't sound that great. Also time wont allow many people to sink much time into many games anyways.

you're only proving my point.

buy one or several games for $5-10, play them all for a month or two until the next deal comes along, rinse and repeat ad infinitum.

also, mods add longevity to existing games depending on gametype or if you prefer, just dive into the vast array of F2P games already out there, something which consoles have only begun to explore on a superficial level.

I switched to PC gaming a year or so ago. Totally worth it.

And don't forget PC 'exclusives' too. Go and surf the webs for some games that some small scale devs made for fun, as well as old games that has been much improved by the fans that make them at least worthy for your high end hardware. Many cost as low as $5 or even free.

go to gog.com and play games that they might of had on the consoles (original syndicate ect ) but the superior version was on pc

Stop making new accounts, it's getting tiring.

You can buy a $500 console and a $500 computer and have two crap machines, or you can spend $1000 building your own computer and have the best of both worlds.
